Job Overview Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who has at least 1 year of experience scouting. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record. Duties / Responsibilities Job duties include but are not limited to, the following: + Prepare traps for placement in the fields. + Inspect and monitor traps weekly. + Collect soil, fruit, tissue, and other samples. + Assist PCA’s with field checking, pest and weed identification, writing recommendations and fertilization plans. + Place traps in fields, conducting field evaluations, and pulling soils and leaf samples. + Learn and apply IPM practices, calibrations, safety and mixing. Required Skills / Abilities + Knowledge of basic computer skills + Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations + Ability to work effectively and efficiently independently and in a team setting + The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand + The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong Physical Requirements + Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high-stress situations + Must be able to bend, and stoop, including the need to move and lift heavy objects + Must be able to work both inside and outside conditions, frequent exposure to heat, cold, adverse weather, greases, oils, noise, chemicals and work in and around moving vehicles + Must be able to climb, reach/stretch arms legs or other parts of the body to grasp objects Pay Offered/Benefits   + $17-$20 per hour + Paid time off and sick leave + Industry-leading health, dental and vision insurance and health wellness program that covers regular doctor visits, eye exams, etc. with only a minor copay + 401(k) retirement with guaranteed matching contributions Powered by JazzHR
