Role Summary/Purpose
Responsible for Technical Assistance in the Digital and Electronics area, will perform direct customer service, working in installation, maintenance and testing of onboard control equipment of locomotives. Ensure the product meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations.
Essential Responsibilities
Plan and execute field activities at customer work site, including the activities of cross-functional resources and subcontractors.Serve as the customer contact during the project, being able to: Resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with cross-functional teams as appropriate.Translate customer needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets and ensure CTQ’s are met.Monitoring, support, perform field tests and perform technical evaluation of equipment under warranty.Participate meetings on various issues related to products and process.Provide guidance to technical teams (hands on) on installations, interventions, tests, preventive and corrective maintenance.Ensure that delivered products and services achieve highest quality and performance levels.Control the materials and equipment in stock in order to ensure the schedule.Qualifications/Requirements
Complete degree in Electrical/Electronics Technical or in progress degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.It is necessary to have knowledge and ability to analyze and interpret electrical schematicsKnowledge in ElectronicsIntermediate English: writing ability, ability to communicate properly through messages; read and interpretation ability of technical documentationsIntermediate ExcelAvailability to work in different shiftsDesired Characteristics
