Job Description
In this Field Service Business Associate position, you will be an essential part of the Field Service Team, assisting with many day-to-day requests. You will be responsible for estimating small service jobs, following up with customers on active quotations and orders, coordinating with the outside sales force on customer requests, processing purchase orders, job sheets, and customer invoices in a timely fashion, and communicating with Field Service Technicians, customers, and sub-contractors about logistics and schedules of service jobs. Additionally, you will manage short-term projects to successful completion.
ResponsibilitiesEstimate small service jobs and follow up with customers on active quotations and orders.Coordinate with the outside sales force on customer requests.Process purchase orders, job sheets, and customer invoices promptly.Communicate with Field Service Technicians, customers, and sub-contractors about logistics and schedules of service jobs.Manage short-term projects to successful completion.Essential SkillsStrong administrative and clerical support skills.Proficiency in data entry and customer service.Experience with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to deal effectively with discounts, percentages, proportions, and currency conversion.Typing speed of 50 WPM with 90% accuracy.Ability to read and analyze business information.Presentation and customer interaction skills.Skills & QualificationsConstruction or general contractor experience is a plus.Direct experience estimating or bidding on service jobs is also a plus.Experience in a project admin or administrative role for a construction company.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite and Teams.Looking for candidates with good tenure who want to stay and grow with the company.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 2 days remote work available after 3 months. The team is family-oriented with full benefits, including health, dental, and life insurance, a 401k plan, paid vacation/personal time and holidays, profit sharing, and a tuition reimbursement program. The office culture includes team days, food days, quarterly meetings, town halls, company picnics, and a holiday party in January. There are also community group activities, book clubs, community service volunteer events, and service awards for 5 years, 10 years, etc. Profit sharing based on company performance can be up to 14% of the base salary.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
