**Job Title: Field Service Assistant**
**Job Description**
The field service assistant will support the service technician with daily tasks. This includes scheduling projects, ordering equipment and parts, managing inventory controls, answering phones for current and new customers, resolving customer issues, receiving dispatch calls, and performing data entry. The role also involves assisting with project completion as needed. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to communicate using industry-specific terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist the service technician with daily tasks.
+ Schedule projects and manage timelines.
+ Order equipment and parts as required.
+ Maintain inventory controls.
+ Answer phones and address inquiries from current and new customers.
+ Resolve issues for existing customers.
+ Receive and manage dispatch calls.
+ Perform data entry tasks.
+ Assist with project completion as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Customer service experience (6+ months).
+ Experience in construction, electrical, HVAC, auto, or elevator industries (6+ months).
+ Administrative, receptionist, or clerical experience (6+ months).
+ Proficiency in data entry.
+ Ability to manage inventory control.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and use industry-specific terminology.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
