Overview

We are searching for a handy and seasoned field engineer with extensive experience working on-site, directing on-site functions, and enhancing efficiency and customer service. Your technical expertise will assist our organization in increasing client satisfaction, improving efficiency, managing risk, diagnosing problems, and complying with laws and regulations.

These are the people that service and support their systems in the fieldWill travel to client sites in Baltimore

Job Duties: 

Conducting site visits, monitoring schedules, and supervising technicians.Running field operations, offering technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues.Ensuring on-site efficiency and safety at all times.Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering related duties.The final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including, but not limited to audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors.Create user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems.Refine current processes, develop a better workflow, and make recommendations.Work closely with the Technical Operations team, the Installation Manager and the Manager of AV Integration while assuring a professional and safe working environment.Estimating costs, approving project designs, and preparing contracts.Analyzing data, monitoring expenditure, and drafting progress reports.Overseeing equipment testing, maintenance, installation, and planning.Mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and evaluating environmental impact.

 

Qualifications

Minimum two years of AV experience is preferredA four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experienceExperience with Enterprise VC solutions AVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred
