Exciting job opportunity for a full-time Field Service Engineer for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems in San Antonio, TX. This role requires expertise in PS systems, power distribution units (PDUs), and static transfer switches (STS), with a focus on commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support.

Required Skills & Experience 3-5+ years experience in the critical power industry Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on UPS, batteries, PDUs, STS, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills High-level customer service skills Proficiency in completing Field Service Reports Knowledge of equipment manufacturers specifications Ability to work independently and resourcefully Physical capability to perform repeated bending and lifting up to 100lbs Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary UPS OEM factory training or experience in Lieber/ Emerson/Vertiv, APC/ MGE/ Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware Desired Skills & Experience Technical degree Previous 3rd Party UPS experience Previous military experience and training Knowledge of general computer hardware and software applications What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown 70% UPS and critical power equipment servicing 30% Documentation and customer communication Daily Responsibilities 60% Hands-On technical work 20% Customer interaction and support 20% Reporting and documentation
