Location:

US - Vancouver, WA - Remote. The ideal candidate will reside in or around Vancouver, WA. The primary territory for this position includes Oregon and will provide regular backup and support for Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Field Service Engineers are considered “remote” colleagues since they commute daily to customer sites to provide service and are provided with a Fleet vehicle to allow for travel to multiple customer locations in their defined service area. Some overnight travel is expected to service customers and participate in training programs. Anticipated travel 25-50%.

How you'll make an impact:

You will be part of our Unity Lab Services (ULS) brand, specifically the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) team. This team offers coordinated solutions, instrument, and enterprise services to our customers.

Daily Responsibilities:Provide field service support to customers including repairs, preventative maintenance, installation, and instrument qualifications, as well as being an advocate for Thermo Fisher ScientificSubmit expenses and manage trunk stock inventory in a timely and accurate mannerDocument daily service actions through the company work order database

How will you get there?

EducationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredAssociate or Bachelor's degree preferredEPA Certification preferred

Experience1+ yrs experience preferred in field service, Depot repair, manufacturing facilities or equivalent, servicing medical devices or laboratory equipment, etc. Hands-on Refrigeration experience preferred1+ yrs experience preferred working with basic test equipment such as DMM, tachometer, temperature devices, etc.Strong electronic/electrical and mechanical background preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Oregon is $23.26–$34.00.
