Job Title: Field Service EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong background in automotive maintenance, electronics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience and the ability to integrate machinery at a higher level than a standard technician. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer interaction. Responsibilities + Install systems at the facility in Cullman, AL, and on-site at customer locations. + Train customers, salesmen, and operators on system operation, troubleshooting, installation, and auditing. + Perform system updates as required. + Execute customer audits to ensure compliance with original design and supporting documentation. + Communicate with customers and end users for product troubleshooting and general product questions or sales opportunities. + Generate trip reports and log service activities in CRM or project management tools. + Perform technical level training for a wide range of audiences including RV and marine technicians, line installers, and commercial vehicle systems techs. + Attend industry events and trade shows to address frequent technical questions. Essential Skills + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in automotive maintenance, electronics, or related field (highly preferred). + 3-5+ years of experience in automotive electrical, power conversion equipment, marine/RV/work vehicle/heavy-duty truck electrical system design. + Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. + Experience with Microsoft Teams (ideal). + Computer literacy, preferably with Windows. + Skills in installation, project management, mechanical troubleshooting, field service management, field engineering, electrical troubleshooting, and auditing. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to handle stress when dealing with disappointed customers. + Capability to travel alone and with others, primarily within North America. + Willingness to travel 75% of the time. + Ability to rent vehicles and fly domestically and internationally. Work Environment This position requires extensive travel, primarily within North America, and involves working both alone and with teams. The role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00 will receive upon offer- the company keeps them discretionary until the candidate reached the final interview Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Cullman,AL.
