Field Service EngineerJob Description Utilize your electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers. Perform installation and troubleshooting on vacuum pumps, abatement, gas, and chemical delivery systems to maintain and increase revenue for both service and sales divisions. Participate in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment, and work professionally to develop customer relations. Demonstrate your ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Adhere to all site fab and Subfab protocol requirements and comprehend the use of test equipment, including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools. Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance, work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, and respectfully take direction from your supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Mechanical skills + Electrical skills + Troubleshooting + Repair + Ability to read schematics and diagrams + Electromechanical experience + High School Diploma + Associates degree or full military equivalent + 1-3 years of experience in relevant technical fields such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum + Positive attitude, energetic, and enthusiastic + Strong willingness to learn and commitment to excellence + Self-starter with the ability to set priorities, demonstrate initiative, and get the job done + Ability to follow instructions and exercise good independent judgment + Competent in the use of test equipment, including various test meters, hand tools, and power tools + Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + Excellent customer interfacing and communication skills + Ability to work in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods + Completion of training to work at height using approved fall protection equipment + Successful completion of Physical Capability assessment + Clean driving record + Fluency in written and spoken English + Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
