Field Service Engineer-Biological Sciences Instruments
Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent instruments supporting research, development, and manufacturing in areas such as Cell and Gene Therapy, Infectious Disease, Virology, Immunology, Immunotherapy, and Next-Generation Sequencing. Your work will support essential scientific advancements in these growing fields.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair Agilent instruments.

Diagnose and resolve performance issues for Cellular Analysis, Microarray Solutions, Flow Cytometry, PCR, and more.

Ensure optimal hardware, software, and network configurations.

Perform proactive maintenance to prevent downtime.

Provide fully integrated solutions, including peripherals and software, to meet customer needs.

Drive customer happiness through clear communication, attention to detail, and timely customer concern of issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

4+ years of proven experience as an end user with scientific instrumentation, automation, and laboratory operations.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Agilent products is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

A valid driver's license and passport are required.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least October 16, 2024 or until the job is no longer posted. In the US, this position is eligible for reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $42.49 - $74.60/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
