Repair, install, and update Thermo Fisher Bioproduction Group hardware and automation products. Consult at customer sites.

A Day in the Life

Provide instruments and equipment services, including installation, basic training, preventative maintenance, repair, and compliance services.Contribute to high-value service-related procedures and documents.Work closely with other departments to improve customer experience.Foster customer happiness by ensuring timely customer response times and problem resolution.Provide up-to-date service reporting on customer activities.Perform commissioning and qualification of equipment by completing Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Installation/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) Protocols.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers in your assigned territory.Assist the Service Sales Representative with service orders.Support product quality improvement.Participate in service optimization projects.

Keys to Success

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer technology, E/E, automation, or biology, chemistry is preferred.

Experience

4+ years of experience in bioprocessing, automated bioproduction, bioproduction equipment design/maintenance/software control, bioprocessing chromatography, and other relevant techniques desired.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Identify, recommend, and prioritize improvements to the customer experience, as well as internal process improvements, and work with appropriate internal and external partners to implement them.Delta V or other control software experience is a plus.Proven teammate who can work with counterparts and customers across the world.Self-motivated, self-starter with robust communication skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and desktop application products.Excellent oral and written English skills.Able and willing to travel extensively.
