Volt is immediately hiring for a Field Service Technician (Robotics- Kuka, Motoman, Fanuc) in the Midwest or Southeast USA along the I-75 corridor from Detroit to Marietta, GA.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Location: Midwest states or Carolinas is preferred. Air travel will be your mode of transportation to most customer sites for work.

\r\n\r\n
In this position you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tComplete troubleshooting, repairs, installations, retrofits and upgrade performance to customer equipment\r\n\tWork with Kuka robots, Motoman and/or Fanuc robots in connection to injection mold machinery\r\n\tEfficiently and effectively troubleshoot and rectify all problem areas on production equipment and related systems\r\n\tTravel to client locations\r\n\r\n\r\n
\r\nWorking hours: Monday through Friday, with paid overtime as necessary to complete required tasks
\r\n\r\n
Travel: You will be issued a company truck or rental for the travel to and from customers’ sites if necessary. Other times will require air travel and head to the airport and get a rental car upon arrival Some weeks are leave Monday morning and return Friday evening. Paid travel time.

Preferred Education and Experience
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRequired: extensive experience working with Kuka robots, Motoman and/or Fanuc robots (Industrial Robot experience)\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t(Fanuc/KUKA/Motoman/ABB/Linear robots): image reload, IO mapping, job creation and modification, software update, interfacing with external systems\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tPLC experience (Siemens HMI [TIA V## or Step7] or AB):\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProgramming: Ladder diagram, Structured text, Instruction list, modules\r\n\t\tComponents: IO modules, safety circuits, drives, vision systems, HMIs\r\n\t\tNetworks: Ethernet IP, ProfiNET, Profibus\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tAssociates Degree in Technical field preferred and 3+ years of related experience in the robotics field, preferably as a Field Service Engineer or Technician, or combination of education and experience\r\n\tPreferred exp: Understanding of injection mold machinery processes\r\n\tStrong Mechanical / Electrical aptitude\r\n\tSolid technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay: $39-45 hourly rate
\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
