Field Service Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Services division in South Korea.You will be mainly accountable for:• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
Qualifications for the roleOver 2 years of experience in engineering as field service engineer. Wind power application, drives and motor/generators knowledge would be preferred Sound knowledge of hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, repairing and customer support of the drives and motors applications/systems in any kind of industry or sector. Bachelor’s degrees in engineering or knowledge of electrical, electronic or any equivalence. Ability to travel to domestic and/or international sites. (>60%) Current driver’s license valid in Korea and no VISA problem for overseas trips Business level in verbal and written English, native Korean
