Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Motion Service division in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.•\tPerforming field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.•\tPreparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.•\tTroubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role\tYou have 3+ years of experience in predictive and preventive maintenance of electric motors.\tAbility to demonstrate your technical knowledge in electric motors and generators in low, medium and high voltage.\tHave established skills in the use and management of laser aligners, vibration analyzers, thermographic analysis, management of PDMA electrical measurement equipment\tYou are at ease communicating in English in an intermediate level.\tYou have availability to travel. Valid driver’s license is desirable.\tBachelor’s degree in Automation, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
