**The Field Service Engineer is a hybrid position responsible for installations, system process startup and troubleshooting of Wastewater Treatment Equipment. Travel for this position is 50% of the time.** **Area of focus, Central Valley, Milpitas Ames and Sacramento, California.**

**Core Responsibilities and Tasks**
**Wastewater Treatment - On-site process start-up and operations leadership and support**
**Writes and modifies PLC and HMI programs for water treatment systems utilizing Rockwell / Allen Bradley and Siemens products**
**Controllers: Configures automation networks, including Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet and Modbus**
**Size pipelines, pumps, blowers, other equipment, etc., based on site hydraulics**
**Lives by our safety program and drives engagement at all levels.**
**Conducts/performs semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.**
**Identify, coordinate, and engage with other functional teams to complete assignments**
**Create equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.**
**Conduct in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.**
**May develop the planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses and per diem rates to complete complex proposals.**
**Guides and performs the review of complex-task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration**
**Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in applying engineering concepts, techniques, knowledge or processes**
**Support the construction/project manager with the technical oversight of contractors.**
**Trains customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment and calibration items, etc.**
**Writes and submits reports covering all job activity.**
**Qualifications:**
**A bachelor’s degree in degree in Engineering is (Preferred) or Wastewater Treatment equipment field experience of 5 + years**
**Valid drivers license in good standing**
**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% occasionally over night stays**
**Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.**
**Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.**
**Knowledge of chemical process engineering and safety regulations.**
**Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.**

Salary range:
$71,000.00 - $113,500.00
