As an Industrial Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and dedication to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical facilitation and service.

\n

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager. This role will be based out of Houston, TX. Relocation support may be provided.

\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers\nProvide advanced technical facilitation and expertise for our IA solutions\nWork with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions\nConduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers\nStay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement\nProviding Technical support (onsite work/break fix, electronic troubleshooting/repair, install migration, process migration, software upgrades, training system configuration, design control, etc)\nTravel: up to 20% (US)\nCompany vehicle provided to travel to customer sites\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n4+ years of proven experience in field service engineering working in an industrial environment with a focus on complex technical solutions\nExperience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)\nStrong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation technologies\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience in project management and execution\nStrong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\nExperience with TDC3000/TPS\nExperience with Experion PKS\nAt least two level 3 or higher Honeywell certifications, one of which must be level 4, or experience necessary to attain such certifications within six months\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics\nStrong guidance and mentoring skills\nContinuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements\nResults-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion\nStrong problem-solving and thoughtful abilities\n\n
