SUMMARY 

Responsible for installing, testing and troubleshooting PLC based gas and chemical delivery equipment. This position will be the focal point for customer support issues, including receiving and logging customer requests and working throughout the organization to provide solutions back to customers in a timely manner. This position requires the individual to work primarily at home office with regular visits to install or troubleshoot at local and remote customers.  An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional, with the ability to multitask on various projects and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Manage field service activities with customers and internal organizationsPerforms installation, setup, calibration, and testing on UHP gas systems at customer sitesUpload and troubleshoot and program PLC and HMI code for Allen Bradley and Siemens devicesInstalls, repairs, and replaces electro-mechanical components and assembliesAssists in analyzing equipment performance, scheduled maintenance and calibration as requiredProvides information and develops solutions on issues that have occurred during field service startup and commissioningRecommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capabilityRecognizes a variety of issues, problems, or opportunities in own process and determines whether action is neededReads, analyzes, and interprets technical drawings, wiring diagrams, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCEA minimum 5+ years’ field service experience operating UHP gas and chemical delivery equipmentA minimum of 5+ years’ PLC/HMI programming experience with preference in Allen Bradley and Siemens architecture
