Discover your place through this exciting opportunity supporting our Anti-Terrorism Force-Protection (AT/FP) Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems (NESS) program and the United States Navy. This is a telecommute full-time position based out of Jacksonville, FL with frequent travel to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

 

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Program’s mission is to design, procure, integrate, install and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters. The NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) and NAVFAC regional Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs). 

 

The primary goal of the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements. 

 

In this role, you will:

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment including alarms, naval munitions, giant voice, cameras, intrusion detection, emergency operation centers, regional dispatch centers, wide area alert, dispatch activities, and support for regional and emergency operation centers. Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts. Be relied upon to determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.  Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance.  Position requires the ability to access confidential/classified areasA high-school diploma/GED3 years+ years' experience in the field (or Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in the field)Residence in Jacksonville, FL area with the ability to travel to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba 50% of the timeA United States passportQualified candidate should have experience with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems and manufacturers including one of the following:Federal SignalCCTVFLIRLenelBalanced Magnetic SwitchCard ReadersAccess Control LogicAMX
