Job Description

Brookstreet UK Ltd are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for our client, who are a leading manufacturer based in Newtownabbey

This role is full time and permanent

Salary will be £26-27k (but then total earnings are closer to £30k with on call)

Successful applicants do have to be available for 24/7 on call on a rota basis.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for:

Repairing and servicing Drive DeVilbiss and competitors' equipmentInstalling, collecting, and exchanging equipmentCleaning products according to company infection control policyMaintaining accurate documentation and paperwork1

Key Responsibilities

Efficiently service and repair a range of company and competitor productsPlan daily work to maximize productivityTravel between sites, including customers' homesProvide excellent customer serviceManage stock levels on company vanComplete and return all paperwork accurately and timelyParticipate in on-call rota

Required Skills and Knowledge

The role requires knowledge in various areas, including:

Various types of medical beds and seatingPatient mobility equipment (wheelchairs, hoists, lifts)LOLER regulations and testingInfection controlInventory managementAdditional advantageous skills include PAT testing, First Aid Training, and Fire Warden certification
