The role will report into the UK and Ireland Field Service Management structure.
The main territory will be within the UK with additional travel out of area as needed by business or customer demands. Some EU support may be required but this will be by x-boarder support requests only.
What you will do:
+ Serve as a Team leader/mentor and or Subject matter expert to other members of the team.
+ When required there may be a need to carry out reasonable tasks as required by the manager or to meet business needs.
+ Carry out Installations, Maintenance, Fault diagnosis, Networking and Qualification of the Cytiva range of equipment consummate with the skills, within defined timelines.
+ Required to clearly and accurately complete all documentation on the various business platforms complying to cGDP standards and undertake all the relevant assigned training in pursuance thereof.
+ Driven to eliminate “wastes” at every opportunity, cognizant of the benefits of continual small improvements in areas that are under local control.
+ Drive continuous improvements to processes and methods within the business using the DBS tools
Who you are:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a life-science, from a technical related field or who is a technically adept experienced field service engineer, with some commercial acumen.
+ Have advanced and specialized expertise in an analytical/scientific method or operational process, typically developed through a combination of equipment related training and considerable on-the-job experience
+ Be competent at completing assignments and facilitating the work activities of others - may coordinate work beyond their own area
+ Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
+ Mentor and subject matter expert, with a positive team impact.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
