Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will ensure all systems, including radio dispatch consoles, radio networks, and related peripheral devices, are configured and utilized effectively to support local business processes. You will provide functional direction and coordinate the use of internal resources and vendor support to ensure service, security, performance, and availability levels of network computer systems are met. You will monitor system performance, perform research, and provide recommendations for improving performance, security, service levels, and cost reductions.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, prioritize, and resolve customer issues related to radio dispatch consoles, telecommunications, radio networks, and infrastructure.Analyze system failures, identify and restore equipment malfunctions.Service, operate, maintain, repair, and remove equipment.Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements.Manage technical products, services, logistics, provisioning, and configurations for assigned customers.Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend actions.Assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications.Install and maintain digital wireless communication equipment in VHF, UHF, and 800 MHz bands.Install and maintain dispatch console systems.Manage statements of work to meet customer and contract requirements.Contact customers, collect feedback, and maintain good relationships.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingElectrical repairElectronicsField serviceRadio frequencyNetworking and PC hardware troubleshooting2+ years of experience as a field service technicianKnowledge of servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing equipment
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00

This is a fully onsite position in Mississauga,ON.
