The Purpose of the Role
Honeywell is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer I to join our\nteam. This position plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and\ntroubleshooting of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong\ntechnical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work\nindependently as well as part of a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain Honeywell systems on the customer site in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).Provide ongoing support for Honeywell systems installed at the customer site.Perform scheduled maintenance and ad-hoc work on Honeywell TPS and Experion hardware, including CRO/PHD APP nodes, Experion Servers, and Workstations, following procedures and schedules.Complete monthly preventative system maintenance checklists for TPS on time.Prepare monthly KPI reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Troubleshoot and analyze issues under both normal and abnormal conditions.Assist the Advanced Solutions group with engineering tasks and projects.Support various functions in the CCII process domain.Ensure regular updates of antivirus software across all Honeywell EPKS systems.Perform standby duties and respond to callouts as required by procedure.Create and maintain backups for servers and workstations.Collaborate with Honeywell's Global Technical Team to implement solutions for the installed base where applicable.YOU MUST HAVE Diploma in\n Computer Science, IT or related field.Windows qualification\n to relevant operating systems will be an added advantage.Minimum of 5\n years of experience in a similar role.Extensive\n knowledge of system installation, configuration, and maintenance.Understanding\n of electrical and mechanical systems where Honeywell technology is\n installed will be an added advantage.Proficiency in\n using diagnostic tools and software.Excellent\n troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong\n communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work\n independently and manage multiple tasks.Certifications\n such as CompTIA A+, Network+ will be an added advantage.Honeywell CEAT\n certification i.e. TPS and or Networking will be an added advantage.WE VALUETechnical\n expertise in system hardware and software.Familiarity\n with Honeywell products and systems is a plus.Ability to read\n and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Strong\n attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in\n using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Our offer
