Field Service Manager | 100% Travel
**Job Title: Field Service Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to oversee conveyor system installation and maintenance projects at client sites. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure project compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards while providing hands-on assistance to team members on-site. **Responsibilities** + Manage conveyor system installation and maintenance projects at client sites + Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and internal teams + Provide hands-on assistance to Millwrights & Electricians on client site for proper decommissioning & installation of conveyor systems + Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards + Supervise on-site project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, for project and client compliance + Resolve any project-related issues and develop contingency plans when necessary + Supervise and instruct field service technicians to ensure the scope of work is met on time, within budget, and to client expectations + Provide training and support to clients on conveyor system operations and maintenance + Maintain accurate project documentation and reports + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in management, preferably in the conveyor industry + Strong leadership and interpersonal skills + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, up to 90% of the time + High School or GED equivalent + Post high school certification / degree in machining preferred + 3 years’ experience in the precision metal working machinery **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Field Service, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, PLC Troubleshooting, Installation, Decommissioning, Electrical Systems, Team Supervision, Conveyor Systems + Electrical Knowledge, Project Management, AutoDesk, CRM, ERP, Pneumatics, Repair, Mechanical Electrical, Scheduling Coordinating, Field Service Management, Automation + Understanding of Spanish is a plus + Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products + Adequate skill to navigate and work within company’s ERP and CRM software + Proficient to excellent typing skills + Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, blueprints, specifications, and procedure manuals + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence + Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers + Fluent in reading and writing English **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company with over 100 years of history that invests in and cares about its employees.
