We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and enhance our field service operations, ensuring top-notch service delivery and customer satisfaction. Lead the drive to our ZERO Harm Culture. Direct The Komatsu Way on SLQDC (Safety, Legal, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). The overall quality of field service repairs. Resident expert of our OE equipment. Overall management of the field projects.  Provide estimated costs and timelines to the Operations Manager/Sales Department for proposals on large and small jobs. Develop and execute capital spending plans required to support the department. Supporting and interacting with other departments such as sales to support their goals and opportunities. Develop and support a professional attitude with each Field Service employees.  Ensure that each one of our customers, peers, superiors, suppliers, etc. is always treated with respect and in a professional manner. P & L of the field service department. Understands the financial end of the business and overall company objectives. Qualifications/Requirements Strong customer service skills. Strong leadership acumen is a must. 10 Years mechanical maintenance experience.  A two-year Mechanical Degree or a two-year Electrical Degree with mechanical influence and three to five years’ experience in the service industry, or five to ten years’ service maintenance experience. Three to five years in a management/leadership role which involved ten to thirty reports, direct and indirect. Mining equipment background preferred Additional Information Technical aptitude for understanding Komatsu mining equipment. Resource Planning skills (Machining, Tooling, Equipment, Manpower) Ability to effectively communicate, including written and oral, and develop effective working relationships across multiple levels of the organization. Ability to diffuse emotionally charged situations. Ability to coordinate customer needs even after hours. Some knowledge of accounting to understand and manage budget.
