Role Summary:
As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing customer field issues, handling warranty complaints, and ensuring effective resolutions. You will also support site commissioning, perform service and repair work at customer locations, and provide technical assistance to maintain strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Process and accept customer orders efficiently.
Prepare cost estimates according to specifications, excluding discounts.
Schedule orders and ensure timely execution.
Prepare quotations for standard products based on predefined lists.
Review and analyze customer specifications and requirement documents.
Compile comprehensive technical and commercial offer documents.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication.
Provide on-site customer support and manage field service visits.
Handle customer complaints and implement appropriate solutions.
Identify, develop, and execute technical solutions for complex issues.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Establish a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Perform in-house and on-site repairs and service activities.
Offer technical support and training as needed.
Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
8–10 years of relevant experience in field service roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word.
Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience in serving customers within the oil & gas, power, chemical, water, and general industries.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other technical drawing tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
