Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, this role will execute all service activities assigned in an adequate and appropriate manner. This is a remote role requiring extensive travel to support our customer needs.

As a Field Service Representative (FSR) you will be responsible for:

Installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare Lab Diagnostic equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.Delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.Managing financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.Company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

Biomedical Technology/Electronics or Electrical Electronics Technologist or equivalent diploma2+ years technical field service experience neededBilingualism English / French language: The successful candidate for this position must be bilingual. Fluency in French and English (verbal and written) is required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position for the following reason(s):The role requires interacting with English-speaking customers and suppliers across Canada and/or internationally;The role requires regular interactions with Siemens colleagues based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally;The role requires using software or technology that is available only in English;Strong mechanical and technical ability and experienceSolid computer skills with understanding of IT and NetworkingConsistent customer-centric mindsetOrganization, prioritization, and time management masteryCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressureValid driver’s licenseMust have valid passportClearance to travel domestically and internationally for training purposes (without restrictions)
