Job Description

As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operational and maintenance
expertise on industrial wastewater treatment systems for one of our customers from a variety of
industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media
filtration, industrial wastewater treatment and ultrafiltration (UF).


What you will be responsible for:

Review customer plant installations and compare against VWTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)Monitor equipment performance and operationConduct maintenance and calibration activities on various treatment plant instrumentationPerform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirementsCarry out mechanical, electrical, process and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors pumps, blowers, instrumentation, and automation hardwarePerform installation & maintenance activities on various water treatment technologiesProvide customers with informal training around operation and maintenance of their systemProvide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed during service visits

Qualifications

What will you bring to the table:

High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environmentBachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipmentWorking experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferredAbility to travel extensively- primarily in the U.S.Valid driver’s licenseDemonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teamsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to meet all customer site requirements  

Additional Information

Please Note: This position will support New Jersey and southern PA. However, candidates from other locations will be considered.

Salary range: $29-$37/hr
