Job Description:
The Field Service Specialist is a Cambria ambassador of service who is responsible for conducting site visits to our residential and commercial clients, providing excellent service by assessing customer concerns and facilitating on site resolution leveraging finishing techniques.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Travel to customer sites to evaluate product concerns reported by end users or business partners and conduct a detailed review while also communicating with the customer.
Provide outstanding customer service by being courteous, professional and responsive. This includes timely arrival of the scheduled visit, appropriate on site conduct and communication with the customer, and ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris during and at the completion of the site visit.
Inspect and follow the established processes, addressing minor concerns by using appropriate finishing, polishing or cleaning techniques to mitigate and resolve the concerns.
Document on site findings and take photographs that show the before, during and after.
Partner and communicate effectively with the Regional Product Representative about the site visit and product findings and escalate major concerns quickly and clearly.
Adhere to all safety policies utilizing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on the job site.
Perform other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Accurate color perception required
Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to stay calm and articulate clearly during high stress situations
Valid Driver’s License, will require motor vehicle background check
Professional appearance and demeanor is required
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1-year experience in a field service or trade position
Systems: Ability to read technical drawings/documents and experience using Google Suites and Iphone to document and capture information. Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
Training: Hands on training is required for this role. Travel to Minnesota and other markets is required as well as some training in the local market.
Additional Requirements:
Travel Requirements: This role requires daily local travel as well as overnight travel on a bi-monthly basis to other markets dependent upon the needs of the business.
Managerial Requirements: None
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily, drive for long periods of time. Must be able to stand, bend and twist while performing service work.
This position will be provided with a company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or mileage reimbursement in lieu.
