As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems Solutions team, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing onsite, offsite and field service support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of flexible pipes used in various industries such as oil and gas, offshore wind, and marine.
As a Flexible Pipes Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Conducting on-site inspections and assessments of flexible pipe systems to ensure proper installation and performance.
Performing maintenance and repair work on flexible pipes as needed.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with flexible pipe systems and implement effective solutions.
Working and operating the equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to coordinate field service activities.
Providing training and support to customers on the proper use and maintenance of flexible pipes.
Documenting all service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Participating in Toolbox Talks and pre job safety meetings. Attend HSE meetings as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have proven experience in field service engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related sector.
Have strong technical skills and knowledge of flexible pipe systems.
Have excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Be able to work independently and travel to various locations as needed.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in a variety of formats e.g., written, oral, diagram.
Have possession of valid Offshore Survival Certification (including firefighting/HUET/Lifeboat exercises).
Have possession of valid Offshore Workers Medical.

This role is working with our offshore customers internationally . When onsite, you will be expected to work inline with customer working patterns.
It is expected that you will spend the first 12 months of employment supporting operations at the manufacturing facility gaining product knowledge and the required competencies to support offshore operations.
