This position performs a wide variety of highly technical duties to assist our customers at their locations and over the telephone/internet. The field service technician is responsible for providing service and customer support during site visits, managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing. Additionally, the technician is responsible for diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions.
ResponsibilitiesCommission supplied process control systems at customer sites.Troubleshoot supplied process control systems and their electromechanical interfaces at customer sites and via telephone/internet.Train customer operators and technicians on supplied customer systems, both in-house and on-site.Work with engineering and test departments to understand upgrades, enhancements, and new product offerings in preparation for commissioning and troubleshooting.Document field information on technical issues, changes that could streamline installation, customer attitude toward products, customer enhancement requests, and sales leads.Work with engineering and others to resolve difficult customer issues.Follow up on all open customer issues until resolution is confirmed.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00
