Field Service Tech

Duties and Responsibilities:
o Respond to customer and field dispatches, to determine the root cause of the service or repair
o Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment failures with support from the home office engineering team
o Install, commission and test new equipment while completing detailed job reports, both internal and external
Day to day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Technician for the service and maintenance needs of their customers. As a field service technician, you will be required to install, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical training on client's equipment. As a field service technician, you should have excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule. A working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, combustion systems, programmable logic controls and ceramics is helpful.
This position requires 50-70% overnight domestic and or international travel.
You must be physically capable of working in an industrial environment, including climbing ladders and lifting over 75 Ibs.
You must have a respect for conducting all work in a safe and professional manner.
