**Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description** Position Summary: This role involves the complete assembly of components in compliance with customer requirements, ensuring all tasks meet quality and time/cost standards set by the company. Responsibilities include building and testing panels, tagging, packing, creating, and loading products in the shop. Additionally, the role requires traveling to sites for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and startup as per company procedures. **Responsibilities** + Support site contractors during installation + Inspect mechanical contractors' installations + Read and understand mechanical drawings + Install equipment based on drawings + Use various hand and power tools accurately + Apply knowledge of welding + Follow quality control instructions + Communicate effectively through written and verbal skills **Essential Skills** + Mechanical installation + Cable troubleshooting + AC/DC motor and drives + Allen Bradley PLC installation and troubleshooting + Pneumatics + Preventive maintenance + Hydraulics + Field service + Machine installation + Blueprint proficiency + Control panel wiring and assembly + Electronics + Panel building + Hand tool proficiency + Schematic reading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School degree required or equivalent work experience + Associates Degree or Technical certificates preferred + 5+ years experience with mechanical assembly + Valid driver’s license + Attention to detail + Ability to work independently and as a self-starter + Forklift and overhead crane certification or ability to obtain + Forklift and overhead crane operation + Adherence to safety rules and maintenance of a clean work area + Willingness to learn and develop new skills **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that has recently secured a significant opportunity with a major client. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and read engineering drawings. Hearing abilities include the ability to hear audible warnings. The position involves field startups and field service, typically requiring overnight and weekly travel. Work sites may include both indoor and outdoor environments, and production work will take place in a shop environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brunswick, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
