Field Service Technician
Organization & Role

Field Service Technicians provide basic tester troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on Teradyne platforms.

Main responsibilities:

Perform checkers and calibration runs on Teradyne, Eagle and Nextest ATE Testers Schedule and update PM/Calibration schedule for all customers under contract Perform standard preventative maintenance procedures as required on a quarterly, semi annual or annual basis Assist with install and de-install of Teradyne testers Perform basic trouble shooting and repairs Assist in preparing proper documentation for all service work performed Travel to local customer to provide onsite support Assist with calibration and maintenance of all PM equipment Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks Works on assignment that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice Maintain a high degree of professional customer service for all customer interactions Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instruction only on new assignments

 

Basic Qualifications & Skills Knowledge of Teradyne tester platforms preferre Good understanding of Basic Electronics Experience servicing ATE or large electrical / mechanical systems preferred Technical school training or College degree Self-motivated and capable of working effectively without direct supervision Familiarity with power supplies, digital multimeter, frequency counter
