Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Direct Hire Field Service Technician for its industrial manufacturing client in Westfield, Indiana. The incumbent will be responsible for managing power delivery equipment, performing work on transformers, low/medium voltage switchgears, breakers and motor control centers, etc. 


Responsibilities: 
Power Delivery experience, performing work on transformers, low/medium voltage switchgears, breakers and motor control centers.  The incumbent will demonstrate excellence in completing customer reports, timesheets, expenses, safety paperwork, and other daily required tasks on time with high level of professionalism.  Abide by Health, Safety and Environmental standards to develop and expand technical knowledge of industry standards for electrical distribution equipment and their warranty.  Protect the company’s capital investments, while contributing to continued development and refinement of all field projects.  Understand NFPA 70E and be committed to working safely above all else.  Demonstrate a willingness and tenacity to learn within the industry, focused on safety on site and continued growth of knowledge base. 
Qualifications: 

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience, or a combination of military experience and hands on work. 

Position would require travel by vehicle across the central territory greater than 75% of the time.

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
