Primary job duties for this position include; start-up, testing, commissioning, preventative maintenance, upgrades and modernization on low and medium voltage switchgear as well as automatic transfer switches using specified test equipment.

\r\n\r\n

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop and manage predictive and preventative maintenance programs for our installed based customers in Las Vegas and surrounding area.\r\n\tPerform all aspects of assigned field service work including site investigation, equipment installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of power distribution, control and automation systems.\r\n\tCompletion of assigned project field activities on time and meet customer functional requirements.\r\n\tWork in close collaboration and cooperation with the local field service office\r\n\tBuild, develop and maintain exemplary customer and vendor relationships while maintaining a high level of quality and technical service.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Job Requirements:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tThe ideal candidate will have years of hands on experience as a certified electrician with commissioning experience.\r\n\tHands on experience in preventative and predictive maintenance of power distribution and control equipment or equivalent education and experience.\r\n\tAn understanding of industrial control equipment (metering, protective relaying, relay ladder logic, Programmable Logic Controllers - PLCs and HMI’s).\r\n\tExperience to include installing, maintaining, testing, & repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar electrical, control and automation equipment is a plus.\r\n\tKnowledge of applicable health, safety, and electrical (CSA/NFPA/UL) regulatory codes and standards.\r\n\tSelf-directed learner motivated and driven to take initiative towards their education and development in electrical power and distribution field services\r\n\tBasic understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics & mechanical drawings.\r\n\r\n\r\n

*Position will require travel. Company will provide a fleet vehicle and company credit card

Pay rate starting at $35.00 -$65.00 hour

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
