Field Service Technician
**Job Title: Field Service Technician II** **Job Description** This position is for a Field Service Technician II responsible for supporting a product line at a semiconductor facility. The equipment involved includes the exhaust and distribution system that controls heat and chemical flow to microchip ovens. The role involves partnering with other suppliers for repair support, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. There will also be some installation tasks and documentation of all completed work. **Responsibilities** + Provide and document routine maintenance of the product line. + Cater to breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance needs at the customer site. + Perform audits and quality inspections of the product line and processes. + Complete pertinent documentation based on defined procedures and customer standards. + Create and assemble test setups, prototypes, fixtures, and other equipment related to the product line. + Adhere to standard operating procedures related to the product line and customer site. + Adhere to safety standards and practices. + Provide after-hours on-call support as part of a rotation every 3 weeks. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills + Troubleshooting + Repair + Maintenance technician experience + Pneumatics + Hand tool proficiency + Preventive maintenance + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems + Good manual dexterity and physical stamina + Ability to work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods + Ability to work with various hand tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to climb and work at heights utilizing fall protection **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with maintenance in the semiconductor industry + Understanding of gas abatement systems + Light electrical knowledge + OSHA 10 Certification (can attain online) + High School diploma or GED + Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial environments + Two Year technical degree (Electrical) (preferred) + Semiconductor Industry Sub-Fab/Fab environment experience (preferred) + Effective communication skills (preferred) + Familiarity with Closed-Loop Systems (preferred) + Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (preferred) **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a small family feel within a stable and secure job environment. The role is first shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a rotating on-call schedule once every 4-5 weeks. The job requires physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and climbing in tight spaces.
