Field Service Technician
**Field Service Technician** **Job Description** + This position is responsible for supporting security screening equipment primarily at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport. + The Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, service, install, and repair various types of security screening equipment. + They will interact with TSA on a daily basis and must maintain a detailed field service log and filing system. + This role requires strong initiative and dedication to consistently exceed customer and company requirements. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, service, install, and repair Trace, Whole Body Imager, X-ray, CT X-ray, and other security screening equipment. + Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance. + Perform equipment upgrades as needed. + Interact with TSA on a daily basis. + Check schedule to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. + Maintain field service log and filing system to properly initiate, organize, and maintain all field service and job files until work is complete. + Demonstrate strong initiative and dedication through effective use of downtime and a willingness to consistently exceed customer and company requirements. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of relatable experience. + Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. + Ability to read and follow mechanical/electrical schematics to assist in isolating faults to root cause component assembly. + Strong electronic repair and troubleshooting methodology. + Working knowledge of PC applications (MS Word and Excel). + Experience documenting service issues in several CRM systems. + Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to multi-task several projects at once. + Exceptional customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations. + Reliable transportation and availability for overnight travel to training and support remote airports. + Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs and push/pull 200 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Basic electronics repair knowledge. **Why Work Here?** + This role offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies. + The position provides a chance to interact with various stakeholders, including TSA, and to make a meaningful impact on security operations. + We value initiative, dedication, and a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations. **Work Environment** + Candidates will be primarily working in the Airport - Bag room, which may require working in small or tight areas. + The schedule will be determined by when the equipment can be worked on for preventative maintenance and the urgency of corrective maintenance. + Candidates need to be flexible with on-call requirements to meet customer needs. + Overtime may be required. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
