Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team within a 160-mile radius of Kenosha. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and technical support, both on-site and in our office. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical issues, as well as assisting with production and maintenance tasks.
ResponsibilitiesTravel within a 160-mile radius of Kenosha to provide on-site support.Assist with production, answer maintenance and service calls/questions when not traveling.Create and submit timely reports on work being performed.Assess client needs for spare parts and facilitate internally.Perform mechanical work such as replacing bearings and changing motors.Troubleshoot electrical, electromechanical, pneumatics, PLC, and programming issues.Welding and polishing experience preferred.Essential SkillsExcellent customer service skills.Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret schematics.Experience with hand and power tools.Knowledge of food processing equipment.Bilingual - Spanish and/or French (preferred).Experience with PLCs.Welding and polishing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertificates in electrical, automation, mechanical, and/or welding fabrication are a plus.Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and spacious, with large rooms dedicated to testing and demonstrating machines to clients. The facility is bright and well-maintained. Employees receive excellent training from experienced colleagues, along with a company phone, AirPods for personal use on the road, and reimbursement for travel and daily expenses up to $100/day.
