Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various industrial machinery at customer sites. This position involves extensive travel and requires the ability to work independently. Training will include field experience with a specialist and some time in the factory to enhance product knowledge.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment at customer locations.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, with support from a company specialist.Collaborate with customers to provide technical support, training, and guidance on equipment usage and maintenance.Provide feedback to the engineering team on recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies while on-site.Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies necessary for service tasks.Travel to various customer locations as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar role within the industrial machinery sector.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.About Actalent
