**Job Description:**
An HVAC/R Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Installation: Install new HVAC/R systems, including air conditioners, heating units, and refrigeration equipment.
+ Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
+ Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC/R systems, including replacing faulty components.
+ Troubleshooting: Use specialized tools and equipment to identify and fix problems.
+ Customer Service: Communicate with clients to explain issues, provide solutions, and offer maintenance tips.
+ Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
+ Documentation: Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
**Hard Skills:**
- EPA Certification and/or HVAC/R certification
- Comprehensive understanding of refrigeration cycles (evaporation, compression, condensation, and expansion)
- Familiarity with system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and refrigerants)
- Understanding of HVAC principles (air conditioning, heating systems, ventilation)

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $90000.00
