What You'll Do: As a Meter Calibration Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of fuel dispensing systems. Your responsibilities will include: + Calibrating retail gasoline meters at gas stations throughout the Northern California area. + Performing minor dispenser repairs, including hardware replacement and filter changes. + Investigating alarms and resolving any issues. + Driving a company vehicle to various work sites. + Maintaining accurate records and reports. + Adhering to safety regulations and using appropriate PPE. What You'll Need: + Strong mechanical aptitude is required and experience in any trade is a plus. + High School diploma or GED is required. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical positions + Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions + Basic computer and smartphone skills + Flexibility to work nights, as many of our clients require nighttime service + Willingness to undergo DOT physical, drug screening, DMV check, and background check Location/Travel: + Willingness to travel within the Northern California area and occasionally to other parts of California, Oregon, and Nevada. + Overnight travel will be required for up to two weeks per month flexibility is required + Ideal Home Location: Antioch, Tracy, Lodi, Vacaville, Walnut Grove. + Peak Season (March-August): Expect increased night work (7PM - 3 AM) during this period. This comes with an additional bonus ($125 each shift). Additional Requirements: + This role requires a high degree of independence, responsibility, and professionalism. You will be entrusted to manage your own schedule, travel independently, and represent Tanknology positively to clients. This requires strong self-management skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety.
