Field Service Technician
**Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description** As a Field Service Technician, you will troubleshoot, perform, suggest, and expedite service requests and duties to achieve superior customer satisfaction. You will travel to various locations to service high voltage power conversion systems and interact with customers to resolve technical issues. **Responsibilities** + Read schematics for troubleshooting. + Receive and return customer calls/emails regarding technical questions. + Travel to and from customer locations and coordinate travel arrangements with management and support staff. + Prepare for the delivery of parts needed and correspond with the department manager when in the field. + Service (troubleshoot, start-up, and repair) units in the field or factory. + Ensure superior customer satisfaction through timely and effective service. **Essential Skills** + Experience with service frequency (50, 60, 400Hz) - high voltage power conversion systems. + Strong electronics troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Experience with single and 3-phase motors. + Proficiency in using hand tools, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. + Excellent customer service skills. + Fluent in English with good communication, written, and computer skills. + Valid driver’s license and U.S. Passport. + Two years of electrical experience in 3-phase power systems. + Flexibility to travel without prior notice and ability to work overtime. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with domestic and international travel. + Military experience is helpful but not required. + Must be able to travel 60% locally and 40% internationally (mainly Caribbean) after training. **Why Work Here?** With 64 years in business, we offer a stipend to help employees with health premiums, making it free for employees. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with some overtime and travel required. Fieldwork involves servicing power converters on boats and traveling to different destinations to service large yachts. The office environment is climate-controlled, clean, quiet, and allows you to sit at your workstation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $62400.00 medical dental vision -401k - car payment they will also get a company phone.
