Opportunity Overview Teradyne Solutions Engineering Group is seeking a motivated and energetic Field Service Technician to assist with our Engineering Lab. This individual will support current and future enabling technology and growth projects for the Engineering Lab. The candidate should be curious, eager to learn, and capable of providing timely solutions in a dynamic engineering environment. This position offers a diverse and exciting opportunity across various engineering disciplines. Essential Functions + Ensure Automated Test Equipment (ATE) UltraFLEXplus, Eagle Tester, etc is fully operational, accessible, and appropriately configured for the work to be done. This may involve preventive maintenance procedures, as well as upgrading tester instruments + Manage tester instruments inventory + Work with Engineering personnel on daily activities in the lab and proactively plan for all resource usage + Ensure that all instrumentation, equipment, and consumables are fully stocked and available when needed, correctly calibrated, and maintained; advising of any conflicts (and propose resolutions) + Oversee lab operations & support the EHS(Environmental Health and Safety) inspection of the lab Other Responsibilities + Support test engineering data aggregation for new product development + Work closely with Field Applications Engineer to understand and improve test engineering workflow processes All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. + Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2 years relevant working experience preferred + Prior experience in field service hardware/software validation and verification in semiconductor tester is an advantage + Knowledge in programming (C#, C++, Python) will be a plus + Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language + This position requires full time on-site, in-person lab work We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.
