The Field Service Technician will report to the Field Service Manager and is responsible for integration, installation, maintenance, training, and telephone support. This role requires up to 90% travel with the expectation to be home on Fridays.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in mechanical and electrical integration of new systemsProvide installation services of equipment at customer sitesPerform system alignments and qualification tests in-house and at customer sitesProvide basic operator training in conjunction with equipment installationProvide maintenance training to customers upon installationDiagnose and repair industrial x-ray equipment and related components, including electrical distribution, high voltage generators, demountable x-ray tubes, motion control systems, and softwareProvide direct technical assistance to customers via phone and onsite visitsWork directly with customers to coordinate installation and training logisticsQuote maintenance contracts and repair requestsBuild and maintain relationships with customersMaintain in-house equipmentOther duties as assignedWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This position requires up to 90% domestic travel from Monday to Friday, with the expectation to be home on weekends. There may be occasional trips that require a weekend stay for installations. When not traveling, the employee will work in our Maple Grove facility.
