**Job Title: Field Service Technician**
**Job Description**
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing advice, training, and problem-solving for our clients. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment at customer sites, as well as performing maintenance and ensuring optimal operation of various equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at the customer’s site.
+ Communicate with customers directly to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions.
+ Advise customers on resolving issues and schedule repairs.
+ Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, including troubleshooting malfunctions.
+ Utilize tools such as welders, drills, hand tools, hydraulic flow meters, and electrical multimeters.
+ Understand mechanical motions and their relationships with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical DC power.
+ Comprehend how electrical components (solenoids, motor sensors, switches, relays, and PLCs) interface and control hydraulically driven devices.
+ Possess working knowledge of hydraulic systems, gear and pressure compensated, load sense pumps.
+ Interpret hydraulic schematics and calculate flow, pressure speed, and volume data for hydraulic components.
+ Make calibrations and unit conversions as needed.
+ Respond to customer needs and develop rapport with customers through effective communication and professionalism.
+ Teach and train users on the functions of equipment and technology.
+ Perform each essential duty at a high level, thrive under tight deadlines, and manage several projects simultaneously.

+ Initiating sales for aftermarket parts, truck equipment, and service work.
+ Providing quotes and making judgments on warranty service.

+ Analyzing test data and interpreting manufacturing data and engineering drawings.
+ Establishing strong relationships with customers and serving as a resource to them.
+ Participating as an instructor at training schools and on-site customer training.
+ Representing the company at industry seminars and conferences.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $62400.00/yr.
