**Aerotek is hiring immediately for a 1st shift field service technician.** **Responsibilities** + Perform repairs and last-minute checks on equipment. + Troubleshoot equipment issues. + Interface with customers to explain machine problems and operations. + Travel to customer sites for service calls. + Provide phone support when not on site. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience as a Technician troubleshooting & repairing filling/food production/packaging equipment. + 2+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience. + 2+ years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting or installing equipment with mechanical and electrical functions. + 2+ years of experience traveling for fieldwork. **Additional Employee Benefits:** + Clean and climate-controlled environment + Quartlerly bonuses and profit sharing + Ample opportunities to advance + Health, Dental, Vision Insurance **Schedule** + This is mainly a 1st shift position with hours from 7am to 3:30pm. + Travel will be 75% or more, and candidates do not need to be local. + Travel is nationwide, but you will always be home on weekends. + Once trained, candidates can be based anywhere within 1.5 hours of a major airport. There will be full reimbursement for all travel expenses **Pay is up to $40/hour based on skill level and experience.
