Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description

The worksite is located in Cheyenne, WY. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting customer systems that utilize Direct Digital Control Technology. You will serve as the local contact for technical issues, ensuring that systems operate properly within controls, sensors, and software. Additionally, you will verify field devices utilizing a laptop.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and troubleshoot customer systems utilizing Direct Digital Control Technology.Serve as the local contact for technical issues.Ensure that systems operate properly within controls, sensors, and software.Verify field devices utilizing a laptop.Commission and validate automated equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical equipment.Travel to client sites to provide technical support.Work with engineers on the startup and commissioning of customer systems in the electronic, electrical, and pneumatic spaces.Follow drawing packages and update them as needed.Set up workstations with all necessary software.Communicate with project managers on project updates and timelines.Troubleshoot any issues throughout startup and maintenance phases.Essential SkillsMechanical skillsElectrical skillsTroubleshooting skillsCommissioning skillsValidation of automated equipment2+ years of experience in data center, installation, field service, or validationExperience using a multimeterKnowledge of TCP/IPAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to travel to client sitesExperience working with engineers on startup and commissioning of systemsProficiency in following and updating drawing packagesEffective communication skills for project updates and timelinesWork Environment

The work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM at the Cheyenne, Wyoming worksite. The team consists of 1 project manager and 4 technicians, with a total of 30 people on-site. Once you go direct, you will receive a company truck and cellphone.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr.
