Job Title: Field Service TechnicianJob Description As a Field Service Technician, you will discover customer needs and maintain account relationships between the client and the chemical sales team. Responsibilities include overseeing the daily cycle and implementation of chemical feed equipment, such as installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Candidates are also responsible for conducting various laboratory tests on chemical samples, reporting results, and ensuring proper inventory levels daily. Responsibilities + Oversee the daily cycle and implementation of chemical feed equipment. + Install, maintain, and repair chemical feed equipment. + Conduct laboratory testing on chemical samples and report results. + Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained daily. + Develop and maintain strong relationships between the client and the sales team. + Troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial maintenance equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Essential Skills + Strong technical skills in mechanical, chemical testing, and laboratory work. + Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. + Proficiency in wet chemistry, pump assembly, and chemical analysis. + Ability to perform duties in an industrial mill environment. + Strong analytical skills. + Experience with machine maintenance, electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair. + Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree in Chemistry or a similar field is strongly preferred. + Previous laboratory or chemical testing experience is preferred. + Experience with heavy machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial maintenance is a plus. + Comfortable working in a papermill environment. + Willingness to work weekends as needed. Work Environment The position is based in a papermill and industrial environment with very hot working conditions. Candidates will be on their feet most of the day and must be comfortable with repetitive lab testing and routine shift work. Candidates will be on call during weekends on occasion and must be available to work at any hour of the day if needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
