**Job Title: Field Service Technician** **Job Description** This Road Mechanic/Technician role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location and includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. + Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime. + Work on a variety of machinery including light and heavy equipment such as Excavators, Loaders, Paving Machines, Backhoes, Bulldozers, Tower Cranes, and Wheel Tractor Scrapers. + Maintain and repair mechanical, diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Travel to job sites to perform on-site equipment repairs. **Essential Skills** + Proven mechanic experience working on light and heavy machinery. + Experience with electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, schematics, pneumatics, electronics, and preventive maintenance. + Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. + Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. + Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas equipment) strongly preferred. + Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. + Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** We provide a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, short-term and long-term disability, accident, life and travel insurance, flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP, and length of service awards.
