In this 100% travelling role, you will perform scheduled maintenance and inspection of PT-6A engines for various customers around the worldComplete AOG maintenance as neededRemove, replace, and test engines as neededComplete hot sectionsMay perform any airframe work that is necessary to resolve engine-related issuesMake airworthiness determinations and provide suitable certification for the work performed including final inspection and release to service of any work accomplished within the Repair Station's capabilityEstablish and maintain positive and effective contact with customers, brokers, agents, and others to enhance opportunities for new and continuing business developmentAround 60% of the work is completed in teamsAircraft commonly supported include King Air, Cessna Caravan, and Twin Otter aircraftOther duties may be assignedDetails on Travel:
Most of the travel is based around scheduled maintenance/inspections, so schedules are normally set 2-3 weeks in advance. There will be some AOG travel that will require an on-call response.A large majority of the work will be done in North and South America, with around 40% in Texas. Only around 5% of the travel will be to countries outside of North or South America.All travel is reimbursedRequirements:
FAA A&P LicenseEither 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience OR 3+ years of PT6 engine maintenance experienceCandidates must be able to provide their own basic hand toolsCandidates must have a valid passportCandidates must be able to travel 100% of the timeCompensation:

This position requires 100% travelTravel is typically Monday through Friday, but some weekends may be required depending on the projectYou can generally expect to work from home for a few days per month depending on travel schedulesPlacement:
